African pearl salt is harvested along the unique coastal waters of the Namib, thought to be the oldest desert in the world, here deep sea water from Antartica mixes with the warm dessert air resulting in an ever present fog which has given the area the name of “skeleton coast” it’s in this environment that this unique salt is formed. Due to its beautiful shape it goes great in a salt mill or to be used with olive oil and bread.
