This fabulous carrot is the deepest orange/red when harvested and becomes a deeper red when you cook it. The red colour comes from lycopene which is also what makes tomatoes red. A main crop heirloom variety, it produces long tapered roots with a mild, sweet flavour. Maincrop variety.
