Description This is one of the traditional rice varieties from Tamil Nadu. Thooyamalli means Pure (Thooya) and Malli (Jasmine). This Rice looks like a Jasmine bud and is the reason for its name. This rice can also be used to make soft idli, dosai or can be enjoyed as plain steamed rice with curry of your choice. It is rich in vitamins hence it is good for skin and body. This rice also is good for digestion. It can be used to make biriyanis.
