Our colourful nylon halters are designed to be worn on the bridge of the nose just below the eyes, and allow for full jaw movement such as eating, drinking (and spitting!). Fully adjustable with buckle around both the nose band and head band they allow accurate fit. They also have additional eyelets so the sizes overlap. When fitting on weanlings, allow 1 finger width gap underneath head band, for adult alpacas 2 finger widths, always making sure headband is tightened just behind ears so it does not loosen and fall over the soft part of the nose. Our halter sizes are individually clearly labelled, made from strong nylon and double stitched so they are long lasting and durable. Nylon halters can expand and shrink on hot or cold days so make sure you check the halter is fitted correctly.
